Our Yoga instructors have come from all walks of life with a wide range of styles and experiences. Try them all and discover the benefits of a varied Yoga practice.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga with Amy: A fantastic gentle and therapeutic class to begin and grow your yoga practice. Group and individual instruction is offered at a gentle pace and with modifications for injury or physical limitation. Learn basic postural alignment to increase strength and vitality and basic yogic philosophy to bring more joy and curiosity into your practice.
Gentle Yoga with Corinne: Gentle yoga offers a class to unwind from the week and begin the weekend sweetly and softly. This class is appropriate for students of all levels. Advanced poses, such as deep backbends and inversions are not practiced. However, we do move through a broad variety of supine, prone, seated and standing postures. It is a breath-centered class that explores all aspects of yoga in a slow and gentle manner. Students are encouraged to go deep within to the cellular level and travel out slowly and consciously to more superficial layers of the body. The awareness of breath will help students to remain soft and open while maintaining integrity of structure.
Gentle Yoga with Kellie: An inspiring entry level yoga class designed to encourage awareness of breathe, body and heart. Alignment details are clear and concise carrying new practitioners easefully through poses and encouraging seasoned students to play with their edges and discover something new. All that is necessary to join is an open mind and a playful spirit. New friends await--including the friendship of your own heart.
Level 1 Yoga
Embodyoga™ with Corinne: Prepare your body for the day ahead with a sunrise yoga practice. This class takes a breath-centered approach and students will learn to match every movement with an inhale or an exhale. It is appropriate for all levels as modifications and variations are offered whenever possible to support students in having a whole-body experience. Both flowing sequences and still holding of postures are offered allowing students to experience their inner fluid nature and outer grounded structure, becoming more conscious of themselves on all layers of being.
Anusara Inspired Level 1 with Katie: This class covers the fundamentals of yoga practice, focusing on the spirit of practice, basic form of the pose, alignment and breath. Participants will receive supportive, clear instruction and individual assistance in a steady paced class appropriate for the beginner as well as more experienced practitioner.
Level 1-2 Yoga
Level 1-2 with Amy: Cultivate your practice in this mixed level class. Learn or review the basic principles of alignment and discover some new refinements. Challenge yourself with poses from the level 2 syllabus including backbends, inversions and deep hip openers. This is a balanced practice to build awareness and a joyful attitude from the inside out.
Anusara Inspired Level 1-2 with Katie: This class continues to cover the fundamentals of yoga practice while incorporating more challenging poses. This class provides the opportunity to deepen and further refine your practice. Participants can expect a more vigorous pace. Variations of poses are offered to accommodate participants at their particular level.
Level 1-2 with Kellie: A challenging exploration of breathe and movement designed to increase body awareness, stamina, self knowledge and navigational skills with the intention of expanding ones capacity to enjoy life both on and off the mat. More details are given in basic postures while advanced postures are introduced and explored with encouragement and acceptance. A basic knowledge of yoga is requested to support the growth of the group as a whole, but even more important is a willing attitude of curiosity, patience, and acceptance. Questions are welcome both during and after class. Come join us for 75 minutes of fun!
Level 1-2 with Megan: Get a great workout through a flowing sequence of postures, alignment and breath, transforming your body and calming your mind – from the inside out! Postures include inversions and hand balances. Modifications are offered for varying ability levels. All are encouraged and welcome to attend.
