What are your hours of operation?
Monday - Friday: 5AM-10PM
Saturday and Sunday: 7AM-7PM

 
Will personal trainers be available to help me?
Yes! All members will receive two complimentary introduction sessions, an equipment orientation and a nutrition consultation. In addition, The Leading Edge is proud to offer a full set of personal training services, to help you achieve your personal fitness and health goals. Our Member Service representatives at the front desk can set up all of your appointments for you. We offer training seven days a week so please visit the personal training page on our website to learn more about our trainers and our training options.

Can I use The Leading Edge in Amherst?
Platinum members can use
The Leading Edge in Amherst once per week. 

Can I bring a guest?
Platinum members have unlimited guest privileges. Guests must be 15 years or older and have a valid photo ID. Guests must be with the member to use the facility. For guests not attending with a platinum member, the guest fee is $15.
 
Is tanning included with my membership?
Tanning is only available to our Platinum members. Platinum members must be 18 years old to tan. Tanning is not available to Platinum member guests.

What should I bring with me to workout?
We provide body wash in the showers and lockers to store your belongings. If you are going to shower you will need to bring a towel. You should bring a lock with you to the club and plan to bring your belongings home with you each day. Leave your valuables at home. Bring a headset if you want to watch t.v. on the cardio pieces.

How old does my child have to be to work out at the Leading Edge?
Members must be 15 or older to work out at the Leading Edge. Members 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

How do I cancel my membership?
Simply visit the club and speak with the manager or send a letter by certified mail to The Leading Edge 272 Mohawk Trail Greenfield, MA 01301. The body of the letter should state your full name, address, and that you wish to terminate your membership with The Leading Edge. If you are a Platinum member and have not fulfilled your membership contract you are required by the terms of your contract to pay 3 months of dues ($59.97) or the remainder of your contract. All cancellations require 1 month notice.

What are my options for paying my monthly dues?
For your convenience, The Leading Edge will electronically debit (EFT) your monthly dues from your checking account, savings account or credit card account. You may also choose to buy a pre-paid membership. We accept all major credit cards.

How do I make changes to my account?
You will need to visit the club and fill out the appropriate form.

I've lost my membership card. How do I get it replaced?
Simply stop by the front desk and we will be happy to issue a new one. There is a $5 fee to replace your card.

What if I have additional questions or comments to make to a member service representative?
Your feedback is very important to our business and we want to know what you think! At the front desk we have a member suggestion box and class evaluation box with member comment forms.

If I have an unresolved customer service situation, who do I contact?
